Northern California Grantmakers (NCG) is a Philanthropic Service Organization that mobilizes philanthropy to build healthy, thriving, and just communities. With racial equity as its guiding principle, NCG is working to maximize the collective power of the region’s philanthropic sector by facilitating opportunities to bridge efforts between the social and public sectors. NCG currently supports the activity of more than 220 institutional members and over 4,000 individual members, with combined grantmaking that exceeds $7 billion annually. NCG is committed to supporting the entire 48-county service region by continuing work in inland California with an eye to expanding engagement with and investment in the Central Valley and far northern California.
